≪Story≫
Modern Japan is a country that has undergone remarkable modernization of civilization and enlightenment. Miyo Saimori, the eldest daughter of a prominent family with a mansion in the imperial capital, lost her biological mother early in life, and has lived in torment from her stepmother and half-sister since she was a child.

She has given up on everything, and is forced to endure the horrendous treatment day by day, until she is ordered to enter into a political marriage with Kiyoka Kudou, a beautiful but ruthless military man.

Kiyoka treats Miyo in a very cold and unfeeling manner, that exactly match the rumors that the previous run away fiancées said.

However, Miyo, who has no where to run to, realizes during her stay at the Kudou household that Kiyoka actually isn't the man that that his reputation has lead everyone to believe he is.

Kiyoka also starts to feel something different about Miyo that he has never felt before from the other fiancées he has had in the past. They soon begin to connect with each other and the loneliness that they seem to carry with them slowly begins to melt away.

However, at the same time this is happening, a series of disturbing incidents hit the people of the capital one after the other. Kyoka is then ordered by the emperor to ordered to fight and act as a shield for the people. As Kyoka fights for his life, Miyo fears for her safety.

However, in the shadows of these disasters an unexpected conspiracy begins to swirl.

However as Kiyoka is off fulfilling his duties, the devil's hand is closing in on Miyo.
Soon, a cruel fate will mercilessly tear them apart...
