"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Magic of ??~" Mini Anime Series Announced! Episode 1 "The magic of saying what you're thinking" Released Online

The anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" currently airs during Nippon TV's "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" programming block every Friday at 11PM.

Now, a series of chibi anime shorts featuring original stories has been announced: "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Magic of ??~"

The first episode, "The magic of saying what you're thinking," has been released online. It stars the four members of the original party of heroes: Frieren, Himmel, Heiter and Eisen.

Among the spells that appear in the main series, there are many that are mundane, or absurd to the point of appearing useless: these shorts each focus on one such spell.

The series depicts Frieren and her friends, appearing with official chibi designs created by artist Mebachi, testing various spells during their journey.

It is produced by TOHO animation STUDIO, who are also currently co-producing the upcoming October anime "The Apothecary Diaries" with OLM.

Episodes will be posted without a set schedule to the TOHO animation YouTube channel, "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" anime official X (formerly Twitter) account, official anime TikTok.
