When the first season of the TV anime "Laid-Back Camp" aired in January 2018, it sparked a camping phenomenon. Now, a third season has been confirmed for 2024 - and a teaser trailer and a complete teaser visual have been revealed.
The trailer provides a glimpse of the lives the girls lead in season three. Part of the teaser visual was dropped in July, showing Nadeshiko and Rin in front of Mt Fuji, and now the full visual is here with the inclusion of Chiaki, Aoi, Saito and Chikuwa camping. See the teaser visual below:
We also have news about the cast: Tomoyo Kurosawa is to play Nadeshiko's childhood friend Ayano Toki, and Akio Otsuka will be returning as the narrator. The theme song artists have also been confirmed.
The opening theme will be provided by Kiminone, an up-and-coming music unit that hit the scene in the spring of 2023. The ending theme will be by Asaka, who has been involved with theme music for this series many times before.
Teaser Trailer Info
The trailer opens with the main theme from season one of "Laid-Back Camp," composed by Akiyuki Tateyama, who is returning for season three. We see slices of life for the five characters—Outclub activities, Rin camping, etc.—as dialogue and music play. It seems this season will have a laid-back vibe, too.
The production team has also released new stills. Look forward to finding out what kinds of camping trips the five girls will experience in season three.
