≪Summary≫
The time was the end of the Edo period.
It was a time of upheaval, with conflicts raging in various regions with the focus on politics. The Shinsengumi, which was formed to protect the security of Kyoto while effectively taking the side of the Edo Shogunate, meet Shinsaku Takasugi and other revolutionists that wanted to overthrow shogunate and had different ideologies than the Shinsengumi.

Kusaka Genzui who, like Takasugi, is in favor of overthrow the shogunate, decides to send spies to investigate the movements of the Shinsengumi, which are gathering momentum in Kyoto.

Meanwhile, the Shinsengumi are growing more and more anxious at the suspicious activities the anti-shogunate faction, and a new spark is about to ignite between the two.

This is the story of the bright lives between those who tried to live as samurai until the end and those who tried to create a new era.....
