Stories that stir the heart,
Music that touches your heart,
A haunting animation.
The story of a woman's life that still captures many hearts.
That woman's name is Violet Evergarden.
It created a global whirlwind of excitement on a world tour even before the show aired. A TV series that became a smash hit with its touching story and its delicate yet dynamic imagery. After the Orchestra Concert enticed the audience's heart and invited them into the world of the anime, the release of Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll caused a huge sensation around the world.
And now, for the finale...
I know a little about love too.
A new era has arrived, and the world is about to change drastically,
Where will the letters she writes, the thoughts she has, reach?
I want to give you (constant) and (universal) love.
The final letter to the people I love.
≪Story≫
What do you mean "I love you"?
There once was someone that taught me to love, and tried to love me. I want to see him, but I never can. I let go of the most important person in my life.
The name of the girl who writes on behalf of others is Violet Evergarden. Having fought as a soldier from an early age, she was never given the opportunity to learn to love, and could not understand the words of her valued superior, Gilbert Bougainvillea. It has been a few years since the end of a war that left the survivors deeply scarred. With the development of new technology, life has changed and people are trying to move forward. However, Violet somehow believes that Gilbert is still alive, and spends her days thinking about him. Her dear Major Gilbert. She was reminded of the Major again. Violet's stongest wish melted quietly into the night. Violet took over sendng flowers on the monthly anniversary of Gilbert's mother's death. One day, she runs into his brother, Colonel Dietfried. Dietfried tells her that she should forget about Gilbert, but Violet gave a straight and definite answer: "I can never forget him". Then, Violet receives a phone call to help a boy named Ulysse. Meanwhile, an unaddressed letter was found in the postal company's warehouse...
