It all began with the unimaginable First Contact. Kado, a mysterious being, appeared out of the blue. The Japanese government did not take the strange circumstances seriously. The course of the world was left in the hands of a single negotiator...

There are many gifted people involved in the "Kado: The Right Answer project." The general director is Kazuya Murata, formerly of Studio Ghibli and director of "Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet." The scenario director is Masaki Watanabe, episode director of "Code Geass: Akito the Exiled." The beautiful character designs are by Ako Arisaka of Sound Horizon manga "Vanishing Starlight" fame. And, the scenario writer who built the world of "Kado" is novelist Mado Nozaki. Nozaki is famous for his light novels "2" and "know," and is attracting attention as an author of the next generation. In addition, the producers are Toei Animation, who continue to take on daring new projects such as "Expelled from Paradise."

What is the "right answer" waiting at the end of the riddle? Engraved there is a future that nobody has ever seen before.

≪Story≫
Kojirou Shindou is a resourceful negotiator working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Just as the plane he is on at Haneda Airport enters preparation for takeoff, a humongous and mysterious cube appears in the sky.

As "it" grows, the plane and all its 252 passengers are swallowed inside.

The name of the giant cube is "Kado." Inside it appears a strange being, Yaha-kui zaShunina, who wishes to attempt to make contact with humankind. Shindou steps up as intermediary between Yaha-kui zaShunina and humankind. The Japanese Government also sends international negotiator Saraka Tsukai to represent them at the scene.

What is Yaha-kui zaShunina? And what are his intentions?
