A man who has completely lost all hope for life returns to the "ring of life" with a group of youthful but passionate high school students.
≪Story≫
Shogo Kirisawa (Takuya Kimura), who won four boxing championships in his high school days, has lost all hope for life due to a series of unfortunate events. He has been living in a daze working his part-time job as a pizza delivery man, and he says that he doesn't care if or when he dies. One person who tries to cheer him up is his best friend, Seiichiro Kai (Ken Yasuda), who gave it is all with Kirisawa in the boxing club during their high school days. However, Kirisawa is a completely different person now and stubbornly refuses to imagine a bright future for himself. Kai, seriously concerned about his future, consults Kenzo Ashiya (Akira Emoto), the former director of the boxing club at his alma mater, Matsubadai High School, and tries to get Kirisawa to take over as head of the club. Matsubadai High School is now an elite school that even has had some of its students admitted to Tokyo University, unlike in the past. Since Ashiya retired as coach, the boxing teams glory has become a thing of the past.
Moreover, the principal, Makoto Oba (Yuki Uchida), is planning to shut down the boxing club, using the fact that the club does not meet the number of members required for approval as a justification. Aoi Orihara (Hikari Mitsushima), who was suddenly appointed as an advisor to the club, has no passion or knowledge about boxing. The members of the boxing club are troubled by the new coach and advisor, who are both lacking any form of enthusiasm. Just then, the head of the boxing club, Kaito Iba (Kaito Takahashi), who knew that Kirisawa was a former four-time champion, suddenly asks Kirisawa for an open sparring session...?
