To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mazinger Z, the 4k remasterbox set containing the theatrical releases of the hit movies between (1973 -1976) that feature Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Getter Robo, and Goldorak was announced at the Touen Manga Matsuri.
5K scanning and 4K HDR remastering vividly reproduces the original from its 35mm negative film! A new Mazinger theatrical series has been created with beautiful colorful images! Not only are the colors of the characters are brighter and richer but also the background and previously scenes that were basically rendered invisible due to darkness, are brought back to life and into the light for all to see.

≪Story≫
■Mazinger Z vs. Devilman
Dr. Hell joins forces with the Demon Tribe to defeat Mazinger Z. Meanwhile, Kouji Kabuto meets Devilman Akira Fudo, and although they initially don' get along, they promise to fight together. However, Devilman has been captured by the united forces of the Mechanical Beasts & Youju. Equipped with a new weapon, the Jet Scrander, Mazinger Z heads for the rescue!
■Mazinger Z vs. the Great Dark General
The Mycenaean Empire, descendants of the ancient Mycenaeans. Under the leadership of its great leader, the Great Dark General, the Mycenaean Empire rallies together its seven major armies and launches an all out attack against Earth. For the first time Mazinger Z is defeated by the Warrior Beasts, which are leaps and bounds stronger than the Mechanical Beasts. Suddenly a new hero appears burst forth from the water, it is the Great Mazinger!
■Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo
Gilgilgan, a terrifying space monster, attacks the earth from the far reaches of space. The Science Fortress Lab and Saotome Institute are desperately trying to fight it back.
Getter Robo and Great Mazinger are forced to retreat unable to withstand the sharp fangs of Gilgilgan. They decide to take up the challenge of defeating Gilgilgan together first out of a sense of rivalry, but then as a cooperative team. Together they begin this joint mission operation!
■Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo G: Kuchu Daigekitotsu
The Saotome Institute is damaged by a mysterious spaceship that suddenly appears. The Getter Machine Bear and Musashi are lost in the fight. The Great Mazinger also faces an uphill battle against the Pikadron released by the spaceship.
However, the Getter Team, along with their new crew memeber Benkei & the newly completed Getter Robo G arrive on the scene. Together they and Great Mazinger, equipped with the new Great Booster weapon, challenge Pikadron to the ultimate showdown.
■The Great Battle of the Flying Saucers
Duke Fleed, prince of the planet Fleed, is forced to run away and watch has his home plant is destroyed by the invasion of the Yaban army. He escapes to earth, however the invasion force is slowly but surly closing in on him. He then finds the courage to stand up and confront the Yaban army with his UFO robot Gattiger!
■UFO Robot Grendizer vs. Great Mazinger
In order to defeat Grendizer, the leader of the Vegan army and of the planet Vega, the Great King Vega, sends the commander of his army, Barendos, to Earth. There Barendos captures Kouji, who was scouting ahead of the others, in order to try and find out the location of the Great Mazinger. Then, Daisuke launches out into battle with his Grendizer and is confronted by the Great Mazinger, that is being controlled by Balendos...!?
■Grendizer, Getter Robo G, Great Mazinger: Kessen! Daikaijuu
One day a mysterious giant sea monster suddenly appears off the coast of Torishima. It was the ancient long thought extinct monstrosity known as the Dragonsaurus. In order to comabt this rampaging beast, the government sought the formation of a powerful super robot army consisting of Grendizer, Getter Robo G, and, Great Mazinger.
Great Mazinger, Kouji Kabuto's Double Spazer, Diana A, Boss Borot, Venus A, and others gather one after another to challenge the Great Kaiju!
