≪Story≫
In a far away forest, was a boy named Popo who lived with his mother (Pia), with the other forest tribe members.
When Popo went out to the forest to collect sap one day, he stopped by his father's telescope and reminisced about his father, who when Popo was just a small child told him why the eastern sky glows red. While lost in his thoughts Popo looks out into the forest and sees that part of looks strange and distorted. That place is simply known as the "ruins."
As Popo approached, the "ruins" began to glow, and the "proof of the protector" given to him by his father seemed to react and began to shine as well. Terrified Popo runs away but as he is fleeing runs into a strange man named (Pasah) who begins to insult Popo's father. As angry as that makes Popo he knows that something strange in the forest is happening and needs to get home. He shakes off Pasah and rushes to his mother's house.
When He finally gets home, he finds his mother transformed into a plant-like creature, who pleads Popo to leave the forest and tells him that Poppo just like is father, is "A guardian of the forest". As she tells him she full transforms and becomes unable to move or speak. Distraught, Popo thinks that now only his father could possibly save his mother and the others and sets off looking for him.
However as he begins to leave he is suddenly attacked by a giant beetle (Caucasus Beetle). However, an giant beetle (Japanese rhinoceros beetle /Insect King) comes to his aid and fights off the Caucasus beetle. It then promptly flies away. In place of the beetle, a small talking beetle (Chibiking) appears in front of Popo and becomes Popo's friend.
Chibiking joins Popo and the two set off together. ......
